About

Hi, I'm Ankita, a Calligraphy and Watercolor artist based in Goa, India, and the artist behind Curious Letters.

Curious Letters is a creative brand, driven by curiosity, storytelling, and the beauty found in everyday life. It brings together original artworks, calligraphy, paintings and thoughtfully designed art merchandise, and creative experiences under one roof. Everything is created with the hope of bringing a little beauty, joy and inspiration into everyday life.

My work reflects my inner curiosity, personal growth, and a deep appreciation for life's magic. I like to think of the energy behind the brand as hopeful, calm, and inspiring.

For the past 9 years, I've been building a creative practice rooted in calligraphy and watercolor, illustrations, alongside the ongoing journey of building a sustainable creative life. What began as a passion for calligraphy has evolved into a creative business, allowing me to work with individuals, brands, and businesses across India and around the world.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on more than 500 projects and collaborate with established brands including Swiggy, Royal Enfield, Suntory, Heineken, and Bombay Sapphire.

At Curious Letters, I create handcrafted work that celebrates detail, beauty, and personal connection. From calligraphy and engraving to watercolor and gouache paintings, and thoughtfully designed products, each piece is designed to make you feel something.

Whether it's a live event, a commissioned painting, personalized gifts, wedding keepsakes, corporate gifting, or a brand collaboration, the goal is to create something timeless and meaningful.

I also host workshops that invite others to explore the art of lettering and painting through hands-on creative experiences.

My reliable sources of happiness outside the studio are lemon tea, watercolors, rewatching The Office and having stimulating conversations with dogs.

Thank you for being here and supporting independent art and craftsmanship. I'm glad you've found your way here and I hope my work encourages you to slow down, notice the beauty in everyday moments, and stay curious!
